I really like the deluxe yam rolls, and always feel welcome at this resteraunt. The service is great, food is tasty and the warm sake is a favorite for my husband and I. I always pick Sushi cafe over the other local option (who also make very good sushi;) because of the table service here is better, the dishes are reusable and they have sake. I think as far as quality, comfort, customer service and general experiance Sushi Cafe is my favorite place to eat in town, their food makes me feel good and I always leave in a good mood even if I wasn't in a good mood when I arrived. There's something about the place that is just peaceful.

The chicken and shrimp fried rice is so so so so so good!!! The spicy salmon is the best sashimi I tasted in this restaurant!!! This is my second time to go to Yellowknife, and this is also the second time I come here to eat! All my friends said this is a good place to eat!

The food and service are consistently great. Our 3 year old (who usually orders a side of rice and bowl of edamame to himself) loves coming here, and that makes dinner so much more enjoyable for us parents.

The food was served fresh and was pretty good. We had ginger beef, edamame, mixed tempura, chicken skewers, gyoza, and a few different maki rolls with sake to drink. The food was prepared fresh and the ginger beef was great, the only thing I'd change about it is a little less sauce so it didn't pool at the bottom of the dish when you were getting to the end. The service was quite good. They refilled our drinks promptly, were pleasant to deal with, and even advised us that we might have ordered too much food even though it meant a bigger bill. I would recommend trying this place out.

The Lemon chicken is to die for. Although the fat guy at the front has an attitude problem. Sad they don’t serve straws with the drinks. Otherwise the food and everything is perfection. 10/10 would go again.

Really friendly service and delicious food! There are vegan options as well. We ordered the King Pao tofu and some veggie sushi. Everything was really fresh.
